Will Taylor face a challenge trying to match Wallen’s winning streak? The signs are bleak.

Warner‘S Zach Bryan reached a place in the top 15 with 35k after just one day of release with The great American bar scenethanks to nearly 40 million streams and 5,000 digital downloads. In its first full week, now underway, it’s expected to generate another 110-120,000 activities. Could that be enough to dethrone Taylor? Zach will have his work cut out for him, as Tay released seven new CD versions on 7/6 that were only available for 24 hours; at the time of writing, three versions are sold out.

Will Taylor defend the crown and equal Morgan’s record when this week Hits Top 50 is final, or will Zachs Bar scene toast to a number 1 at the end? Stay tuned.

This week also sees the release of Eminemeagerly awaited The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)which is expected to be around 300,000-350,000 the following week. Can Tay do anything to stop the new rap god? Shady/aftermath/Interscope Set? We don’t know, but we’re excited to find out.
