Travis Kelce is emotional during Taylor Swift’s song, Brittany Mahomes comforts him

Like a good friend, Travis Kelce has attended many Taylor Swift concerts, especially on Epoch Tour. But there were very few (if any) cases where tears came to his eyes.

All that changed earlier this week at the concert in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

During the performance, Swift sang a mashup of several songs that brought Kelce to tears. It wasn’t just a regular mashup of songs either, most of the lyrics seemed to relate directly to Kelce.

The first such hint came when she sang “The Song of Mary,” in which you hear this line:

“You’ll be 87, I’ll be 89. I’ll still look at you like the stars shining. In the sky, oh my God.”

If you know these people, you know that Kelce wears number 87 for the Kansas City Chiefs and Swift was born in 1989. Coincidence? Probably not.

The next clue that this mashup is indeed a love song was that Swift included lyrics to “So High School” from her “Tortured Poets Department,” another song many believe to be about Kelce. She also sang lyrics to “Everything Has Changed” in the mashup.

All this caused Kelce to shed a few tears. Brittany Mahomes, who was there with her husband Patrick (the latter attended his first Swift concert), consoled Kelce.

Honestly, I doubted that the two would still be in love after so long of their relationship. But if Swift was willing to sing such a long love song to Kelce, that’s a great sign.

And honestly, that’s a good thing. Celebrity relationships often don’t last that long, and I’m glad hers did.
