The Chapter Chat Selection for July: “The Queen’s Loyal Companion”

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – On Monday, July 8, NewsChannel 7 Today anchors Jessica Foster and Mel Zosh revealed the book selection for July on Chapter Chat. It is “The Queen’s Faithful Companion” by Eliza Knight.

The book presents the perspective of Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth), Susan, Elizabeth’s corgi companion, and Hanna, who helps care for Susan and the other royal dogs.

What is Chapter Chat?

Chapter Chat offers the opportunity to read a new book each month, discuss it with community members, and make new friends too! It started in Panama City Beach in January 2023 and was recently awarded a national Service to America Award.

When is the next chapter chat?

The next Chapter Chat will be held on Tuesday, July 30th at the Panama City Beach Public Library. It is open to anyone who wants to come. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. The author, Eliza Knight, will also be present at the Chapter Chat meeting.
