Did Harry Styles play 15 shows in a row? The singer’s MSG concert in 2022

For 15 consecutive nights between August 20 and September 21, 2022, Harry Styles earned his place in Madison Square Garden history when he performed in front of more than 300,000 fans as part of his Love On Tour. The former One Direction singer gifted all audience members a feather boa on the 15th night.

The entire Madison Square Garden was transformed into “Harry’s House” during the 15 days of the concert, with innovative activities to ensure fans could enjoy the concert experience to the fullest. Fans could choose from specialty foods, personalized photo booths and Harry Styles merchandise.

Harry Styles’ unforgettable performance at Madison Square Garden

To celebrate Harry Styles’ legendary run, millions of his fans around the world watched the unveiling of a brand new banner. As CBS Mornings host Gayle King unveiled the banner, the Watermelon Sugar singer joined Billy Joel and Phish in the rafters of Madison Square Garden, a venue that holds more than 18,000 people.

Wearing a colorful boa and green jumpsuit, Gayle King said, “We will not say goodbye to you, Harry Styles! 15 consecutive nights at Madison Square Garden! This banner will stay forever. Forever.”

The 30-year-old’s iconic performance was praised by Jim Dolan, CEO and Chairman of the Board of MSG Entertainment. Styles was called “one of the most influential artists of this generation” by Dolan. Representing the entire MSG Entertainment community, he expressed his gratitude to be a part of Harry Styles’ chart-topping show.

As part of the Love On Tour, a nonprofit organization called Everytown and HeadCount partnered with the Madison Square Garden concert and, along with Live Nation, donated over $1 million to the Gun Safety Support Fund.

Harry Styles thanked all of his fans from the bottom of his heart as the banner was raised. “I just want to say from the bottom of my heart to every single one of you that are here tonight that this is not (looks at the banner)… this is crazy,” the Cherry singer blurted out.

After dabbing his eyes with a tissue and taking some time to compose himself, Harry Styles expressed his feelings. “To everyone who bought a ticket, thank you so much for your support. This doesn’t happen very often to people like me, this doesn’t happen at all to people like me and I just want to thank you all. You changed my life. Every single one of you. Thank you so much!” Styles exclaimed.

He expressed that this life-changing event would not have been possible without the support of his fans. After everyone left, Harry Styles said he would return to the location to “look at it for a while” and take in its beauty.

This event made Styles part of an exclusive group that had only two members before him. Billy Joel won his two banners at Madison Square Garden after playing 129 and 83 shows. Phish won by playing 13 consecutive shows without repeating a single note.
