Who is Bunny’s voice actor in The First Descendant?
Best answer: Many players believe that Bunny, one of the most famous characters in The First Descendant, has the same voice actor as Tracer from Overwatch. However, this is not true, because Bunny’s voice is provided by Rebecca LaChance.
What a pleasure to lend my voice to Bunny for @FirstDescendant! Thank you to all of @LiquidVioletUK, @soundswilde and @hollyreddaway for a great recording experience and as always to my brilliant @UnitedVoices_ team. Can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks of #TheFirstDescendant! 🐰 https://t.co/28FZPP1gHvJuly 2, 2024
Bunny and Tracer from Overwatch are not voiced by the same person
There has been speculation online that the voice actress of Tracer from Overwatch was also responsible for the voice of Bunny, players’ favorite character from The First Descendant. However, this is not the case, as UK-based voice actress Rebecca LaChance lends her talents here.
This is far from LaChance’s first rodeo, however. You may already be familiar with her work as a voice actress from a number of other titles. Most recently, these include Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, Alan Wake II, Outcast: A New Beginning, and Payday 3. Her resume also includes well-known titles such as Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Horizon: Forbidden West, and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.
So that question is settled. Check out Rebecca LaChance’s full list of voice acting credits on IMDb.
Everyone loves Bunny
Bunny has quickly become the face of The First Descendant, although she isn’t a character players can start with. You first meet her in the introductory mission, as she is the computer-controlled companion during your first encounter with Ironheart.
Bunny, however, is quickly unlocked by acquiring the necessary resources to add her to your roster in one of the first quest lines. Bunny is also one of the few characters to have an Ultimate variant that is like Bunny but, well, better.
Bunny is a fun character to play. Her abilities can deal quite a devastating blow to large groups of enemies and the ability to run around the map much faster can certainly make clearing zones a little quicker.
