Jin debuted as a K-pop idol in 2013 with the K-pop group BTS along with RM, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jungkook and Jimin. As the main vocalist, he gained huge international popularity with his singing skills. In addition, he debuted as a solo artist in 2022 with the single The Astronaut.

The artist made his first public appearance after his discharge from the military on June 13, 2024, to celebrate the group’s 11th anniversary with his fans at Jamsil Arena as part of FESTA 2024.
