The legend’s longest collaboration was with The Simpsons, lending her voice to the character Marge Simpson.

As an author, the 81-year-old also had a fulfilling career in publishing. The author focused on the subjects of history and fiction. MacKenzie’s most popular books included The Child Queen, The Prince of Dreams, Queen of Camelot and many others.
