Ice Spice hits back at crowd booing Taylor Swift’s song “Karma” at Rolling Loud Europe Festival

Ice Spice doesn’t get upset when people make fun of her friend Taylor Swift, but instead backs down. The rapper clapped back during her July 7 performance at the Rolling Loud Europe Festival in Austria after the crowd mocked her song Karma, which she co-wrote with Swift.

When the crowd started booing and giving thumbs down, however, Ice handled the situation carefully, blowing kisses to the crowd in response. Swift raved about how easy it was to work with Ice when she released the Midnights track remix for Karma last year.

Since their collaboration, the two have been close friends and Swift has even given Ice helpful advice. Ice noted in an interview: “I’ll never forget the moment I had with Taylor in the studio. She told me, ‘No matter what happens, just keep making music and everything will be fine.'”

In addition, Ice Spice and Swift attended major events together such as the 2023 MTV VMAs and the 2024 Super Bowl. The Tortured Poet’s Department hit was even heard at Coachella in April to support Ice’s performance at the Californian music festival.

The pair also surprised audiences by performing “Karma” during Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour stop in New Jersey in May 2023.

Are Ice Spice and Taylor Swift collaborating on another song?

Ice recently hinted at whether Swift might be featured on her debut album Y2K. Ice hinted at the possibility of another collaboration between the two when Entertainment Tonight inquired if Swift would return the favor by appearing on one of her songs. Ice told Spice, “I think she did me the favor. But I don’t know. We’ll see, we’ll see, we’ll see.”
