Industry sources close to the couple revealed that HyunA and Yong Jun Hyung decided to get married because of their strong belief in their relationship.

The insiders stressed that the two have been close friends for a long time and understand the difficulties of working in the entertainment industry. They have built a deep bond based on trust and understanding. After building their relationship, they decided to get married based on their mutual trust in each other’s love.

Dawn and Hyuna, both well-known K-pop stars, have had a tumultuous relationship. After meeting as labelmates, their romance blossomed in 2016 but came under the public spotlight in 2018 when they went public against their agency’s wishes.

Yong Jun Hyung, often simply called Junhyung, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor. He rose to fame as a member of the South Korean boy band Highlight (formerly known as Beast), which debuted in 2009. Junhyung left Highlight in 2019 amid controversy surrounding his involvement in an incident involving an illegally shared video. However, police clarified that Junhyung was only considered a witness in the Burning Sun scandal at the time.
