At the Rolling Loud Europe Festival in Austria this weekend, Ice Spice played a Taylor Swift song over the speakers, which some in the audience did not like
Ice Spice had a message for Taylor Swift’s haters.
The New York rapper performed at Rolling Loud Europe in Austria on Sunday and a video of her performance went viral. During her performance, Taylor Swift’s “Karma” played from the speakers.
But when the song was played at Rolling Loud Europe, people in the crowd didn’t react the way Ice would have liked. They started booing and giving the thumbs down, to which Ice responded with grace.

She blew the haters a kiss and smiled at them as she continued with her show. With this small gesture, Ice proved that she was a good friend.
Ice was featured on the remix of Karma, released on Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition) last year. Taylor brought Ice to perform the remix song with her during the Eras Tour in New Jersey, and the two have been spotted at various football games cheering on Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Taylor was spotted at Coachella last April, where she supported Ice during his performance. The two also attended the 2023 Video Music Awards together.
Taylor praises Ice, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston. In a Spotify audio clip in which Taylor gives background on her songs, she says, “Collaborating with Ice Spice on ‘Karma’ was one of the most natural things.”
“She reached out through her team and just said, ‘Hey, Ice has been a huge fan of Taylor’s since she was a kid and would love to work with her if it ever happens,'” she continued.
Ice has also spoken openly about her love for Taylor. She said, “When I was in the studio with Taylor, I’ll never forget that. She told me, ‘No matter what happens, just keep making music and everything will be OK.'”
The rapper has remained tight-lipped about whether Taylor will appear on her upcoming debut album Y2K!, which is due out later this month. She told Entertainment Tonight that Taylor “did her the favor,” adding: “But I don’t know. We’ll see, we’ll see, we’ll see.”
