Travis Kelce appears to wipe away tears during Taylor Swift’s performance

Travis Kelce left hand in hand with Taylor Swift after her last Epoch Tour Concert in Amsterdam.

But footage from fans shows that Kelce, 34, was already feeling the love long before he and Swift, also 34, left the Johan Cruijff Arena in the Dutch capital on Saturday, July 6.

In a video shared on TikTok on Sunday, July 7, the football player is seen wiping tears from his eyes as Swift sings “Everything Has Changed.” The song was part of a surprise selection of songs that also included “Mary’s Song (Oh My My)” and “So High School.”

Kelce watched Swift’s last show in Amsterdam from a VIP box next to Patrick Mahomes And Brittany Mahomeswho can be seen in the video checking on Kelce as he becomes visibly emotional.

Fans have dubbed Swift’s song medley a “Travis Kelce mega-mashup,” as the selection is likely a reference to the football player.

“Mary’s Song” mentions the number 87, possibly referring to Kelce’s jersey number with the Kansas City Chiefs, while “So High School” was inspired by Kelce, as discussed on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast on June 24, where Kelce revealed that the track has “a slightly sentimental meaning.”

During the concert, Kelce was also seen singing along to both “Mary’s Song” and “So High School.”

The fan video has Swift and Kelce fans excited, with one TikTok user commenting, “I love that Brittany Mahomes checked on him,” and another writing, “My heart can NOT handle this kind of vocal love… I can’t stop crying.”

After Swift finished her show, the singer joined Kelce backstage. The athlete then fired up the crowd in support of Swift as the pair walked hand in hand.

Brittany and Patrick, both 28, travelled to the European city from London, where they have been enjoying the city for the past few days. The couple attended Wimbledon and shared a series of photos from the tennis event via Instagram on Sunday.

It is also a particularly eventful month for Kelce and Swift, as it may have been about a year since they first connected.

In July 2023, Swift celebrated the 4th of July with her friends, including Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters. Three days later, she posted photos from the meeting along with a caption mentioning her then-single status.

“Belated Happy Independence Day from the independent girls in your neighborhood,” Swift posted at the time. “See you tonight, Kansas Cityyy.”

Kelce tried to make Swift’s concert in Kansas City, which he attended with the Mahomeses, a success by giving her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.
