Woman attacked after meeting man in Pasadena club – Pasadena Now

A 21-year-old Los Angeles woman was sexually assaulted after meeting a man at a local nightclub, police said Sunday.

After the attack was reported, Pasadena officers responded to a Los Angeles hospital at 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

The victim was treated in the hospital, according to Pasadena police Lt. Andrea Perez. She did not provide any information about the woman’s condition.

The attack took place in the area of ​​Colorado Boulevard and Fair Oaks Avenue in Old Pasadena, Perez said.

The woman told police she met the suspect, described only as a Hispanic man in his early twenties, at a club early Saturday morning near curfew. The suspect helped the victim find her cousin, who was unwell and had left the club, Perez said.

Later, all three individuals went to the victim’s car, which was several blocks away from the club. In the car, they reportedly voluntarily consumed illegal drugs. The victim was then forced to perform sexual acts against his will, according to Perez.

No weapons were reportedly used in the alleged attack. Police did not provide a description of the suspect’s vehicle.
