Michigan Football is one step closer to signing a 4-star elite TE

The Michigan football team got off to a slow start recruiting for its class of 2025, but it’s now taking shape. It took a while to get rolling, but the Wolverines have improved their rankings a lot in recent weeks. There are still plenty of top targets for Michigan, and one of them is four-star tight end Andrew Olesh. Olesh will announce his commitment on Monday, and the Wolverines are in his final four.

Andrew Olesh will announce his college decision on Monday, and the Michigan football team is among the finalists. Olesh will choose between the Wolverines, Alabama, Florida and Penn State. Olesh has taken official visits to all schools, and the environment at each school has been crucial for the star tight end.

“At each school, I looked at the environment, how I felt around the people and whether it felt like a second home,” Olesh said, according to an article by On 3. “I want to feel comfortable everywhere. It doesn’t matter where the school is. I’m looking for a place where I feel at home.”

Andrew Olesh shares his thoughts on Michigan

The good news for Michigan football is that they like to use their tight ends. Andrew Olesh has noticed this and likes what he sees from the Wolverines at his position.

“I like how Michigan uses its tight ends,” Olesh said. “They’re about to draft a tight end in the first round of the draft, Colston Loveland, and I feel like I can replace him and play there pretty early. That’s one of the reasons I want to go to Michigan. They use a lot of tight ends and sometimes even 13-man, which is great. Because they have a lot of tight ends on the field, that means I might get more playing time if I go there. Coach Moore is definitely one of my favorite coaches because he contacts me every day. He either calls me or texts me to check in on how I’m doing. He feels like family.”

We don’t have to wait long to find out where Olesh will play in college. Olesh is the 84th prospect in the class of 2025 according to 247 Sports, So signing him would give Michigan a nice boost in their class. According to crystal ball predictions, Olesh is expected to join the Wolverines.
