Singer Meghan Trainor named godmother of Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International has named Grammy Award winner Meghan Trainor as the sponsor of the new Utopia of the seas.

To celebrate, Royal Caribbean International is hosting a party and concert – and 52 fans will have the opportunity to take part in the festivities.

Starting today, Friday, July 5, and running through Sunday, July 7 at 11:59 p.m. EDT, fans can take their chance to be part of the celebration. Official sweepstakes rules can be found on Royal Caribbean’s Instagram channel.

On deck of the 3-night cruise there is one party after another, from a live performance on Utopia until Timeless singer during her visit to Royal Caribbean’s award-winning private island Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas, to the unique naming party attended by the newly crowned godmother. All this takes place just days before the new vacation’s official debut on July 19 in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida.

To kick off the three-day celebrations, Royal Caribbean and Trainor will officially Utopia accompanied by special guests, the ship’s crew, media, partners and 52 fans – one for each weekend of the year – and their guests. Trainor will continue a long-standing maritime tradition as godmother when she provides her safety to the ultimate getaway, its crew and the millions who will vacation on the ship. Utopia for years to come. To keep the party going, Trainor’s exclusive show will be held at the iconic outdoor AquaTheater, and fans can also slip behind the velvet ropes to meet the star in person.
