Which famous movie kiss was just voted the best of all time?

TitanicJack and Rose’s iconic kiss on the forecastle has been voted the best film of all time, according to a new poll.

Fans forgave the cheesy line “I’m flying” and put the tender kiss of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, who are plagued by lovesickness, in first place, just ahead of the classic kisses of Lady and the Tramp‘s spaghetti eating puppy, And Spirit‘s Sam and Molly.

The special moment of Han Solo and Princess Leia in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back also featured in the survey of the 50 most beautiful movie kisses.

The survey of 2,000 British adults was commissioned by TLC ahead of the launch of the new TV. Love at first kiss.

“Kisses play such a big role in movies that it’s fascinating to see which ones had the biggest impact,” said a TLC spokesperson.

“For many people, their first experience of a ‘real’ kiss was probably the one they saw on screen.

“So perhaps respondents felt a sense of nostalgia when they voted for their favorite.”

In third place was Pretty Woman‘s mysterious fire escape smooch, followed by the passionate kiss at the end of Dirty DancingAnd Bridget Joness uplifting, snowy clash between Bridget and Mark.

Also in the top ten were Mary Jane and Peter Parker’s famous upside down kiss, Breakfast at Tiffany’srain-soaked lip service and Blown by the winds iconic moment between Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara.

It was also revealed that 30 percent of Britons say romantic films are their favorites for a date – but not for the first date.

Love at first kiss airs Wednesday (January 11) at 9 p.m. on TLC.
