Travis Kelce is close to tears as Taylor Swift performs her surprise songs on her Eras tour in Amsterdam

Travis Kelce got a little emotional while watching Taylor Swift during her Eras tour stop in Amsterdam

On Saturday, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end attended his girlfriend’s third and final Eras tour show in the Netherlands and was watched by a teary-eyed concertgoer as Swift performed a special surprise song mashup seemingly dedicated to him.

Swift – who has used her surprise song sets in recent months to mix some of her biggest hits – performed a medley of “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)” by Taylor Swiftft, “So High School” by The “Tortured Poets” sectionand “Everything has changed” by Red.

Fans immediately knew the song combination was dedicated to Kelce, as the lyrics of each song allude to their relationship. “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89,” Swift sings in “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My),” which many interpreted as his jersey number 87 with the Chiefs and her birth year 1989. In the second song, 34-year-old Swift sings, “You know how to play, I know Aristotle.” The third song references a love that changes a person’s perspective on life.

In the comments on the video, fans took note of the viral video and celebrated Swift and Kelce’s relationship, which began almost a year ago in the summer of 2023.

“Thank you for not keeping this a secret. So beautiful 😍 they are so in love ❤️,” one person wrote.

“I can’t imagine how emotional it must be for him to see his loved one perform for him and the thousands of others who adore her. I would be emotional too,” another person shared.

“Thanks for sharing this. 💕 I love how Brittany Mahomes reached out to him – that was a little mommy moment,” a third replied.

Kelce – who was accompanied by teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes – appeared to wipe a tear from his face and was examined by Brittany, who could clearly see that her friend was having a tender moment.

Over the weekend, which Kelce also attended Swift’s Friday night show, the NFL star and the singer were caught kissing as they left the Johan Cruijff Arena.

The sweet interactions come a full year after Swift and Kelce’s love story began with her performance on the Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City in July 2023. Last year, she hinted at her own future by sharing pictures from her Fourth of July party, joking that the get-together was a celebration for all “independent” girls, only to then add that she was heading to Missouri next.

Fast forward a year and the two have become one of the hottest couples around. Kelce recently made his stage debut on the Eras Tour in London and has performed in support of his girlfriend at countless concerts around the world.

A source recently told ET how the “So High School” singer and her NFL star boyfriend handled his surprise performance at Wembley Stadium and how the experience bonded them together as a couple.

“It was definitely a new turning point in their relationship and they had a blast showing the world a very personal side of themselves,” the source said. “They are so happy with how everything turned out and have loved the reaction from fans.”

The source added: “It was a very special experience for her and also gives clues as to what her future might hold for her.”
