‘Last Leg’ star addresses Bigfoot rumors on ‘The Masked Singer’

The Last Leg star Alex Brooker has addressed rumors that he is Bigfoot on The Masked Singer.

The comedian was interviewed by his co-stars Adam Hills and Josh Widdicombe on the season premiere of the Channel 4 talk show this evening (February 16).

“That can’t be. I wouldn’t go on TV dressed as something ridiculous,” Brooker said when asked about Bigfoot’s identity.

“But look, I know you’ve talked about this. I just have to say this straight out. Look at me now, I’m sweating here and wearing a T-shirt,” he added, before Widdicombe replied: “Yeah, because you’re lying!”

Brooker continued: “Do you really think I could go in a costume, a huge and hairy costume? They would open it and there would be nothing left, it would be like the end of The Snowman.”

Widdicombe and Hills then investigated the clues that suggested their friend was Bigfoot, and also shared a message they received from Brooker’s mother – who also suspects her son of being on the singing show.

“I asked Alex and I’m convinced it’s him on The Masked Singer,” it said. “If it’s not him, then I don’t know my own son! I can’t believe he didn’t want to tell me. Every one of his quirks is his.”

Fans will find out whether Brooker is actually behind the mask in the grand finale tomorrow evening (February 17). In the highly anticipated conclusion of the series, the three finalists – Bigfoot, Piranha and Cricket – will sing one last time before being unmasked.

Last week, both the Air Fryer and Eiffel Tower exited the competition, with “Greatest Showman” star Keala Settle and “I Think We’re Alone Now” singer Tiffany Darwish emerging among the costumes.

The Masked Singer returns for the grand finale tomorrow (February 17) on ITV1 and ITVX. The Last Leg airs on Channel 4.
