Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 will be released in October 2024

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 will be released in October 2024

A trailer for the new season of Bleach was revealed at Anime Expo, giving fans the best look yet at Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 – The Conflict before the series premieres sometime in October 2024.

The two-and-a-half minute trailer featured a montage of captains releasing their Bankai before an explosive clash between Ichigo Kurosaki and Yhwach.

Earlier in the day, Viz Media’s social media account uploaded a video in which the show’s producer and directors update fans on the anime. The main thing they said was that the upcoming cour will continue the series’ trend of introducing additional scenes from the manga, including a new look and a captain’s bankai that was never revealed in the manga.

“Part 3 will feature brand new, never-before-seen Bleach content,” said series chief director Tomohisha Taguchi. “We collaborated with Kubo-sensei again to create new scenes that complement the stories covered in the original manga.”

“As the new director of the series, I want to maintain the animation quality established by everyone in Part 2,” said series director Hikaru Murata. “But if I were to mention changes, we are using more CGI than in Part 2, so I hope fans can look forward to the improved quality of the animation.”

The new trailer for Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War also coincides with the announcement of a brand new video game. Bleach Rebirth of Souls is a 3D action game from Tamsoft, the developer of Melty Blood, that follows the events of the first major storylines of Bleach, the Soul Reaper and Arrancar arcs. Although the game does not yet have a release date, it will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.

In Our rating of the first season of Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War, we gave the first episode 8/10 and wrote, “Bleach shines in an adaptation that isn’t afraid to deviate from the source material.”
