The double unmasking of “The Masked Singer” reveals fireworks and
The Masked Singer revealed the identities of two actors this evening in a double revelation before the semi-finals.
Firework was the first singer to be unmasked and turned out to be Jaime Winstone, followed by Doughnuts, who turned out to be Michael Owen.

Winstone told his close friend and fellow judge Rita Ora: “I can’t believe you didn’t hear me,” to which Ora replied: “We call her firecrackers in the truest sense of the word.”
The actress added of her reasons for participating: “For me, the decision for my five-year-old son was a no-brainer.”
Many on the panel had already suspected that it was footballer Owen who said: “When I first came out here, I found it nerve-wracking to take a penalty for England, but you guys were far worse.”
Doughnuts was one of the judges’ favorite artists during the series and managed to make up for his lack of singing talent with enthusiastic performances.
However, when they ended up in the last two against Rockhopper and Firework had already lost the audience vote, they decided to keep the strong singer Rockhopper.
Owen said: “After the first show, my phone was ringing off the hook with people I knew asking me if I was Doughnuts, so it was difficult to respond while keeping my involvement in the show a secret.”
He tweeted: “I can finally apologize for rubbing your ears for the past few weeks. My children have urged me to @MaskedSingerUK but I have to say it was a great experience and a lot of fun. I still can’t believe I made it past the first round!”

One viewer tweeted: “To be fair to Michael, he provided plenty of entertainment even if his voice isn’t great. And he was obviously having the time of his life so fair play.”
Someone else commented: “Jaime Winstone as Firework! Well, never me! Well played, Jaime!”
Guests at the panel included Years & Years Singer and It is a sin Actor Olly Alexander is the first guest judge in today’s episode of the series.
Alexander laughed at Davina McCall’s suggestion that Jennifer Lawrence could be Firework, but told him: “You can laugh, of course, but Ne-Yo was in the last series.”
Viewers were once again impressed by Mushroom and there were speculations as to who might be behind the mask, including Charlotte Church, Sheridan Smith and Paloma Faith.
Next week marks the semi-final of season three, which will select the mystery contestants hoping to join previous season winners Nicola Roberts and Joss Stone.
