THIS actor has not spoken to Chris Evans

The fantastic Four Star Joseph Quinn has said he has not yet spoken to Chris Evans about his role in “Fantastic Four.”

Quinn was cast as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in the Marvel series earlier this year. This role was previously played by Chris Evans in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) and Michael B. Jordan in the 2015 reboot of the franchise.

During an interview with Men’s HealthJoseph said he has not yet contacted the two actors because it is important to him to make the role his own.

“I haven’t contacted them yet – maybe I should. It’s important to claim these opportunities as your own,” he explained.

“I think they both did an incredible job and I’m well aware of how much this role means to a lot of people and how successfully they portrayed him,” he said.

“I think it’s important to approach it with respect for the people who have played it before, but at the same time with the intention of making it your own. We’ll see.”

“I remember really enjoying Chris Evans’ portrayal of Johnny in the previous films and it felt like this was a really exciting opportunity,” he said, adding, “I was immediately on board.”

Joseph will star in the upcoming film alongside Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic.

He will also star Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

The fantastic Four will be released on July 25, 2025.
