Kannada actress and singer Chaithra Achar ventures into Tamil cinema
Kannada actress Chaithra Achar, known for ‘Toby’, is making her debut in Tamil cinema opposite Sasikumar in a film directed by Raju Murugan. The film is currently being shot in Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu. The actress recently lent her voice for the number ‘Kittale’ from the Kannada film ‘Roopantara’ starring Raj B. Shetty. Chaitra, known for her roles in ‘Toby’, ‘Sapta Sagaradaache Ello’ and ‘Blink’, is excited about the new opportunity.
Popular Kannada Actress Chaithra J Acharknown for her role in Toby, Sapta Sagaradaache Hello And Flashmakes her Tamil debut alongside Sasikumar. She will be seen opposite popular Tamil actor Sasikumar in an untitled rural family drama directed by Raju Murugan. The shooting of the film is currently underway in Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu. Noted cinematographer Nirav Shah will be handling the camera in her debut Tamil film.
Chaithra Acharwho has already made several Kannada films and has a few more in store, has taken the great opportunity Tamil CinemaIn addition to her role, she recently had a series Kittale for the upcoming Kannada film Roopantara with Raj B Shetty in the lead role. The song and the poster of the film have already caused a stir among the fans.

The song was received enthusiastically. Raj B Shetty’s poignant lyrics and Midhun’s lively composition gave the artist a new identity in the industry. Chaithra Achar’s vocals further enhanced the appeal of the song.
In a recent interview with Times nowChaithra had said, “I have signed my first film in Tamil, the makers will announce it soon. I have also received several offers from Telugu and Tamil cinema. Though I am selective, I am happy that the scripts I get are unique.”
Chaitra Achar delivered impressive performances in films such as Toby, Sapta Sagaradaache Hello And FlashShe currently plays the character Lacchi in Uttarakhand and is also part of an upcoming suspense thriller with Praveen Tej from Churikatte Fame.
