Taylor Swift sang “All Too Well” (10-minute version) during her Red era when she stopped the show and raised her voice to make sure fans were safe and well
Taylor Swift had to abruptly interrupt her show during a performance in front of a sold-out crowd in Amsterdam as part of her Eras Tour.
During her rendition of Red-era “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” the 34-year-old singer stopped to help fans who were having difficulty in the stadium’s standing area, according to reports and videos on social media.
“I wish I could be my old self again, but I’m still trying to find it,” she sang before her attention was drawn to the sea of fans below her. Taylor’s gaze drifted to the right side of the stage and she sang a few more lines before pausing.
As the song was interrupted, Taylor announced, “They need some help where they shine their lights.”
She continued to sing the poignant hit with concentration: “But you keep my old scarf from that very first week, because it reminds you of innocence and smells of me. You can’t get rid of it.”
Then she raised her voice and said firmly into her microphone: “You need help.”
Taylor could be seen pointing in the direction of the frantic fans. After singing a few more lines, she stopped the song again.
“Do you have any help?” she asked. Only after receiving confirmation that her loyal fans – who are very dear to her heart – were safe did Taylor end the song.
It is not uncommon for Taylor to interrupt her concerts to help fans in need and show them her deep love.
During her third and final show in Amsterdam on July 6, Taylor Swift surprised her fans by performing a rarely sung song that is presumably a sweet tribute to her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
In the acoustic set, Taylor performed a mashup of “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)” from her debut album, “So High School” from The Tortured Poets Department (confirmed via Travis), and “Everything Has Changed” from her popular album “Red.”
The section “Mary’s Song” sent fans into a frenzy. The song tells the story of two childhood friends who fall in love over the course of their lives.
In the song, Taylor sings, “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89 / I’ll still be looking at you like the stars that shine / In the sky, oh my God, my God.”
When she sang the song for the first time in 16 years, Taylor couldn’t hide her joy. Fans have been raving about the “Travis Kelce mega-mashup” ever since.
One fan gushed about Taylor’s unexpected song choice on social media, saying, “You can’t convince me the invisible string theory doesn’t work because it’s been a year since Travis headed off into the era with a friendship bracelet and a dream and now she’s fucking singing Mary’s song that she wrote like 18 years ago that features his football number.”
