The latest sci-fi adventure from Apple TV+ Set in futuristic Japan, the series follows Suzie Sakamoto (Rashida Jones), whose life is turned upside down when her husband (Hidetoshi Nishijima) and son disappear in a plane crash. She investigates the mystery of her disappearance with the help of an unexpected source: Sunny, a robot that her better half designed especially for her. The series will begin on July 10 with two episodes, with the remaining eight airing weekly. Watch out for The AV Club‘s review on Monday.


Mastermind: Think like a killer (Hulu, Thursday, 12:01 a.m.)

Thought Hunter Fans, this is for us. Mastermind: Think like a killer explores the fascinating career of Dr. Ann Burgess. The inspiration for Anna Torv’s character in the series was Wendy Carr. Dr. Burgess is known for profiling serial killers by delving into their psyches and conducting interviews with them (including Ed Kemper and Ted Bundy). Mastermind offers insights into her private life and shows how her work has helped expose several murderers over the years. The AV ClubThe review will be published on Tuesday.
