The long-awaited relief in humidity will be followed by new thunderstorms: 5-day forecast

On Sunday, July 7, a high pressure system will build up from the Ohio Valley during the day. Humidity will not be as oppressive as in previous days, with highs of between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius, according to the National Weather Service.

There will be high clouds and sunshine for most of the day, but showers are possible in the afternoon or early evening.

On Monday, July 8, the humidity will be noticeably lower, but the thermometer is expected to rise again to 32 degrees.

On Tuesday, July 9, it will be partly sunny for most of the day, with temperatures ranging between 30 and about 32 degrees Celsius.

The return of more humid air means that showers and thunderstorms are possible in the late afternoon and evening.

The storms could continue until the early hours of Wednesday, July 10.

On Wednesday it will be cloudy all day. The maximum temperature will be over 30 degrees and from the afternoon into the evening further showers and thunderstorms are possible.

On Thursday, July 11, it won’t be quite as warm. The maximum temperature will be just over 27 degrees and the sky will be partly sunny.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible for the third day in a row, and the time frame is known: from the afternoon into the evening.
