Austin.com Pinktastic Swim Club opens in downtown Austin

Think pink! Immerse yourself in a picture-perfect swim club at Downright Austin in downtown Austin. The historic swimming pool turned social club invites guests to swim, dine and dance the night away. Don’t let the name fool you, this non-members-only social club is open to everyone!

What to expect at Swim Club Austin

The club comes from Austin restaurateur Travis Tober of Nickel City, Murray’s Tavern and Old Pal. He has an affordable menu Here you’ll find dishes like chicarrones, ceviche, wings, pizzas, sandwiches, tacos and more. Reheat prices start at $5, pizzas range from $12 to $15 and three tacos are $13.

But it is The drinks that add to the club’s Instagrammable experience. We tried the Aperol Slush, Nitro Cold Plunge and the Sharks in the Water. Made with Haiku Vodka, Roku Gin, Blue Curacao, house Piña Colada mix and Giffard Framboise Float, the best bit is the shark gummy candy wedged into a disco ball straw. Frozens, Classics and other mixed drinks are offered for $15.

Location: Swim Club at Downright Austin, 701 E. 11th Street
Hours: The dining room is open from Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 to 22:00, the bar is open until 00:00, and on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 to 23:00, the bar is open until 02:00. The Swim Club pool service is available all week from 11:00 to closing time.
