Jericho vs. Joe – History

The former is a big singles match for Jericho and Joe, who met as WWE Superstars in 2017. In their brief history together so far (each match lasted less than 10 minutes), Joe defeated Jeff. When these two first met on WWE Raw, Jericho still held the US Championship and Joe won by count-out.

The nail in the coffin, so to speak, was when Joe hit Jericho with the Coquina Clutch from the outside. Their next meeting was the result of Jericho getting revenge for losing his title to Kevin Owens at WrestleMania. Jericho did not win that match, but he subsequently regained the US Title.

title at Payback before losing it to Owens on WWE SmackDown and embarking on a lengthy tour with his rock band Fozzy. There are certain similarities in the dynamic when they first met and now that they are facing each other again.

FTW Champion Jericho comes to the altar, but this match is not the title shot against Joe. Following the match, HOOK defeats Jericho at Forbidden Door in a future title shot.
