Mukesh Chhabra says few work harder than Shah Rukh Khan: ‘The more you meet him, the more you love him’ | Bollywood News
Is there anyone in Bollywood who is not enchanted by Shah Rukh Khan already? That seems unlikely. Even casting director and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra, like many of us, is a fan of Bollywood’s Baadshah and has nothing but praise for him and the work he puts in to remain who he is.
In a recent chat with PinkvillaTalking about what it takes to be a star, Chhabra said, “A person who works hard, continuously and with dedication from morning to night is a star for me. No one can predict how big or popular someone will become. The only exception here is Shah Rukh Khan. He is on a different level and no one can match him. Everyone works hard, but very few work harder than him. And he has been doing it for so many years. He still loves acting. Many people come to Bombay to work, inspired by him. He is a common influence for many.”
Last year I not only worked as a casting director for Atlee’s JawanMukesh Chhabra also acted in the film with Shah Rukh Khan and worked with the superstar again. “I couldn’t say no because Shah Rukh sir was standing in front of me. I mean, how can you say no? You are lucky if you get a chance to stand in front of him and he looks you in the eyes,” said Chhabra, who made his directorial debut with the film with Sushant Singh Rajput. Dil Becharasaid.
“Anyone who has spent time with him knows that every time you meet him, he showers you with love. That doesn’t change. Usually when you start working with an actor and get to know him, things become normal between you. But not with him. The more you meet him, the more you love him and that love grows endlessly. Even when you are back home, you think of Shah Rukh Khan,” said Chhabra, who worked with SRK on films such as Chak De! India, Zero And Jab Harry met Sejaland in many commercials. “It’s not just that you love him; he loves you too, and his love is so real that you end up loving him even more,” he added.
