Taylor Swift brings Travis Kelce to tears during show in Amsterdam
Taylor Swift made her boyfriend Travis Kelce emotional during the Eras Tour concert in Amsterdam.
On July 6, Kelce attended the show at the Johan Cruijff Arena, where Swift performed a special mashup.
The Blank space Hitmaker performed The Song of Mary, So high school, And Everything has changed Mashup, with lyrical references to Kelce.
During the performance, the NFL star filmed his girlfriend with his cell phone and wiped his eyes several times, especially during the touching lines of Everything has changed.
“‘Cause all I know is that we said hello/ And your eyes look like you’re coming home/ All I know is a simple name/ And everything has changed,” sang Swift.
The heartwarming moment was captured in a video posted by a fan on social media.
Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was also at the concert and was seen checking on Kelce as he wiped his eyes.
The crowd cheered loudly as Kelce clapped and raised his arms during the closing lyrics of Mary’s Song. The lyrics read: “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89 / I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine / In the sky, oh my goodness.“
The lyrics have special meaning because his jersey number is 87 and he and Swift were both born in 1989.
