Taylor Swift wears gloves after suffering a ‘weird cramp’ during a concert in Edinburgh

Taylor Swift wore a pair of gloves on stage in Edinburgh after suffering a “weird cramp” in the cold Scottish city the night before.
The 34-year-old singer thrilled her fans on Friday (07.06.24) at Scotland’s Murrayfield Stadium, but Taylor had to briefly interrupt her guitar playing because she was suffering from cramps due to the cold in the air.
She told the crowd: “My hand is frozen in a weird spasm… it’s so embarrassing… it’s like I’m performing with a claw.”
“Nobody talks about it.”
And when she returned to the venue on Saturday (08.06.24), she wore a pair of black gloves, apparently to prevent another cramp.
Despite the cold, Taylor enjoyed performing for her fans in Scotland and admitted that it was an “unforgettable” evening for her.
The blonde beauty, who sang some of her best known songs during the show, including “Cruel Summer” and “Lover”, said: “Edinburgh, you gave us everything you could give us tonight.”
Taylor will perform in Liverpool on June 13, 14 and 15, and it was recently announced that the city will be renamed Taylor Town when 150,000 fans descend on the city for her shows at Anfield.
Liverpool City Council announced that the city will be given a new name in honour of Taylor, and plans are also underway to display 11 art installations inspired by each era of Taylor’s career.
Taylor is also scheduled to perform in Cardiff and London and her shows will reportedly increase UK spending by almost £1 billion.
The pop star recently made it onto Forbes’ list of the world’s biggest billionaires for the first time. Taylor is the first person in history to achieve a net worth of one billion dollars through her music or performances alone.
The publication said: “Celebrities are getting richer too. Taylor Swift ($1.1 billion) will join the ranks of 2024’s stars after the record-breaking first leg of her ‘Eras’ tour – the first musician to do so solely on the basis of songwriting and performances.”
