A statement was made in the East when FC Cincinnati dethroned Inter Miami, sending a clear signal of their push towards the Supporters’ Shield with a resounding 6-1 victory.

A certain Sergio Busquets also received only the fourth red card of his career, which gave the guests an unforgettable evening.

Orlando City also delivered a goal festival with a 5-0 win over DC United and Columbus followed suit with a 4-0 win over Toronto.

In the showdown between Canada, Montreal and Vancouver shared the points 1:1 and Philadelphia Union managed to avoid finishing last in the table with a 0:0 draw against the New York Red Bulls.

Then the goals started pouring in from the West. Real Salt Lake beat Atlanta United 5-2 thanks to an inspired Diego Luna, and Austin made a 2-1 comeback against New York City FC. In the final game of the day, Seattle beat New England 2-0.

Statistics of the night

We start the evening by highlighting the stunning performance of FC Cincinnati!

Elsewhere, Gyasi Zardes made history with an individual effort that helped Austin secure the three points in the home game.

Meanwhile, two legends at Orlando City moved for Facundo Torres.

With his assist and a goal, he overtook Kakรก (10) in the category of players with the most games with multiple goal involvements (10). He is also ahead of Nani in terms of the second most goals scored in the regular season in the club’s history (29).
