Taylor Swift was just spotted in London for the first time since her split from Joe Alwyn

On Friday, following her Eras tour performances in Madrid, Taylor Swift flew to London to see her friend Cara Delevingne perform at Cabaret at the KitKatClub in the West End.

Model and actress Delevingne plays club singer Sally Bowles, portrayed by Liza Minnelli in 1972’s Cabaret. Swift’s appearance was confirmed by the venue’s marketing director Arthur Jones, who responded to a fan’s question on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Taylor Swift?? Was she opening for Cara Delevingne?? At Cabaret?? TONIGHT??!!’ Jones replied: ‘I can confirm. Special night.’

Swift and the model have been friends for many years, and Delevingne even appeared in her legendary “Bad Blood” video. The Tortured Poets Department singer is currently on the European leg of her tour, with her next performances taking place in Edinburgh and Liverpool.

Swift has been joined by friends and boyfriend Travis Kelce on her tour dates so far. Kelce and his friends Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper attended her concert in Nanterre, France in May, while she was joined by friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds in Madrid.

In April, Delevingne told Harper’s Bazaar about her foray into musical theater: “I didn’t know I could play Sally, let alone that I wanted to, until the opportunity arose.”

“In the theater, I’m more drawn to tough but very flawed characters than in the movies,” she continued. “I feel like I can bring all my pain and fear into the performance. She’s so many facets. She’s extremely powerful, but, my God, she’s broken and vulnerable. She’s a child – a little girl, and that’s the saddest thing about the whole thing. I definitely see myself in that.”

She added: “I have never learned so much or grown so much. I am taking away so many incredible, valuable things that you can’t get or even afford in this job.”
