Meghan Markle finishes filming cooking series for Netflix – here’s why she feels ‘intensely pressured’ | World News

Meghan Markle has reportedly finished filming a new cooking series for Netflix, part of Prince Harry’s five-year, $100 million deal with the platform. However, the Duchess of Sussex feels “besieged” due to the ambivalence surrounding her various new projects. This has also caused her relationship with Prince Harry to become strained, the expert said.

Filming on the yet-to-be-titled cooking show has reportedly finished. “Everything went well and the show is in the can,” a source told The Daily Beast.

A filming permit obtained by the Daily Mail shows that the show was filmed in at least two locations. The first was a high-end flower wholesaler 10 minutes’ drive from Montecito, California, and the second was a $5 million estate two miles from the $11 million mansion Meghan shared with Harry. Some famous people from the cooking world are said to have worked on the show, including Michael Steed.

“Meghan feels pressured”

Meanwhile, royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror that there is a “growing rift” between the Duke and Duchess, “caused by Meghan’s increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she planned.” “She loves the media attention and hates the fact that polls suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public,” Quinn said.

Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the royal family, Meghan has been involved in several projects, with each endeavor having varying degrees of success.

Meghan’s Spotify podcast Archetypes was created as part of a $20 million deal with the streamer. After the podcast received mixed reviews, it was not renewed for a second season.

Meghan has reportedly signed with Lemonada to create a new podcast, a series that has reportedly been delayed until next year. Her five-year contract with Harry at Netflix expires in 2025. Meghan will also launch her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

Meghan’s projects, however, have not received much public attention. Her Netflix contract is said to be in jeopardy and her lifestyle brand has been heavily criticized. “Given the news that the couple’s Netflix contract may be in jeopardy and the ridicule that has accompanied the launch of her online brand, Meghan feels very beleaguered,” Quinn said.

“She’s now at a point where she feels everything she does is unfairly criticized,” Quinn Had previously said. “Like her husband, she feels people are unfairly bullying her – she can’t understand why people don’t admire her work.”
