Watch Taylor Swift pay tribute to her romance with Travis Kelce on the Eras Tour ahead of their first anniversary

Taylor Swift is in love – and let the world know it when she paid tribute to her boyfriend Travis Kelce live on stage with a three-song mashup on Saturday, July 6.

The singer, who was performing in Amsterdam for the third night, chose certain surprise songs that seemed to hint at her state of mind: namely, that there had been an “invisible bond” between her and Travis all along.

For the piano part of the acoustic set, Taylor began with her debut album song “Mary’s Song (Oh My God, My God)” It tells the story of a boy and a girl whose parents are friends and who fall in love as teenagers in high school.

It ends with the lyrics: “I’m turning eighty-seven, you’re turning eighty-nine,” For fans, this is a sign that Taylor and Travis are meant for each other, as his NFL jersey number is 87 and Taylor is known for the year 1989.

She then complemented the song with the new track “Also high school” – which already has a moment in the full setlist and is presumably about how her romance with Travis makes her feel like she’s back in high school. It includes the line “Bittersweet sixteen suddenly,” which recalls the second verse of “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My),” which begins “Well, I was sixteen when suddenly.”

The third song was the Red Era Track “Everything has changed,” and it contains similar lyrics to “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My),” such as: “You’ll be mine and I’ll be yours / All I know since yesterday / Is that everything has changed.”

At the end of the show, Travis – who was watching in a suite with his best friend Patrick Mahomes and Patrick’s wife Brittany – joined her at the edge of the stage one more time and walked her backstage to the cheering fans waiting to see her and Travis.

The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end has often performed with Taylor backstage. The night before, the two were caught on video holding hands and waving to fans before Travis was seen pumping up the crowd and Taylor placed her hands on Travis’ waist to guide him.

On the third night, he even appeared on stage at London’s Wembley Stadium as part of the transition to “I Can Do It With A Broken Ground” and helped her two dancers, Kam Saunders and Jan Ravnik, pick her up from the floor and get her dressed for her next performance.

Travis and Taylor reportedly met in late July 2023 after he attended her Eras tour show in Kansas City, MO on July 5, 2023.

At the end of the month, he “broke her down” for not meeting up with him, only to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it, and Taylor revealed in December 2023 that they started hanging out after his call.

She attended many of his games, including the 2024 Super Bowl where the Chiefs won for the second time in a rowand in his off-season, the soccer star jets around different continents to cheer on his girlfriend.
