Taylor Swift marks the start of the Eras tour with a not-so-subtle nod to Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift has just achieved a new premiere for her Eras Tour – and she did so with a sweet nod to Travis Kelce.

During the “Fortnight” singer’s third back-to-back show in Amsterdam on Saturday, July 6, she chose a surprise song she hadn’t sung on the tour yet, and Kelce, 34, happened to be in the audience to witness it.

After singing a mashup of her songs “Sweeter Than Fiction” and “Holy Ground,” which she always plays on guitar, in her first acoustic performance, Swift, 34, switched to the piano to perform a medley of three more songs, including the much-requested “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My).”

“Mary’s Song” has been an important part of Tayvis’ legend since Swift collaborated with the NFL player, who famously wears jersey number 87 for the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the song from her eponymous debut album, Swift sings, “I’ll be eighty-seven; you’ll be eighty-nine.” If you follow her albums, you know that the 14-time Grammy winner has an album titled 1989a reference to her (and Kelce’s) year of birth.

When she started dating Kelce, Swifties quickly realized there was a connection between the two that existed long before they first met, and “Mary’s Song” was a big deal from the start.

But while her fans have been begging Swift to sing “Mary’s Song” for months, she did it for the first time on Saturday, combining the romantic song with a song from her latest album, “So High School,” that was presumably written about Kelce.

Swift even added “Everything Has Changed” from her Red Album that seems to allude to the fact that she and Kelce were strangers just a year ago and are now completely in love.

“Yes she is in love. They are destroyed,” wrote one fan on X after watching the performance, while another person joked, “She is totally devastated.”

“The absolute best mashups ever,” raved another, adding, “Thank you for this” to the “Anti-Hero” singer.
