Taylor Swift performs “Sweeter Than Fiction” and “Mary’s Song” in Amsterdam

For Taylor Swift’s final performance of the Eras Tour on Saturday at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, she pulled out some of her old treasures to accompany her on her surprise acoustic session. This included “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)” from her 2006 self-titled debut album, and she also performed “Sweeter Than Fiction,” her song from the soundtrack of the 2013 film “The Last Man.” A chanceShe hadn’t played either song during her Eras tour until Saturday.

“It’s a tradition I started on the Eras Tour because I really wanted to challenge myself to play as many songs as possible from all of my albums,” she said, explaining the section of surprise acoustic songs during her sets and how she plays songs on guitar and then also on piano. “And it’s different every night,” she added.

“I can’t believe it, but I haven’t played this song on the Eras Tour yet, so it’s funny,” she said to the applause before launching into “Sweeter Than Fiction,” which she shared with Red‘s “Holy Ground” while playing acoustic guitar.
