Phase 1 – Report

Rounds: 15 (1-15 / 50)

Green flag, van Gisbergen has a clear run into turn one. Larson dives inside into turn two but can’t overtake him. Larson tries again and overtakes him. Shane van Gisbergen dives inside of Larson into turn six, van Gisbergen takes the lead again!

Lap 3: Larson attacks again on the inside but can’t pass him. Larson attacks again under braking in turn four, Larson passes him and takes the lead.

Lap 6, Larson blocks at turn 12 and van Gisbergen has a run. Shane van Gisbergen takes the lead again at turn one.

Chandler Smith drives into the pit lane with a broken engine, without caution.

Lap 8, caution for debris.

Green, Larson has a look inside into turn one. Van Gisbergen crosses under him to retake the spot. Larson looks outside and the doors rub together at turn four! Larson takes the lead into turn six.

Lap 13, Riley Herbst drives Sheldon Creed wide and into the wall. Creed gets caught on his rear bumper and spins him over in the next corner. No caution, both cars are damaged. Justin Allgaier spins trying to get into pit lane.

Last lap of the first leg, van Gisbergen is side by side in turn 6. Van Gisbergen completes the overtaking maneuver in turn 7.

Phase 2 – Report

Rounds: 15 (16-30 / 50)

Green flag on the second stage, Larson overtakes van Gisbergen in turn one. Behind him, AJ Allmendinger takes 3rd place.

Lap 23, AJ Allmendinger is stuck in the tire barrier after leaving the braking zone in 3rd place, caution.

Most of the leaders head to the pit lane. Sammy Smith and Austin Hill take the front row, while Larson restarts in 17th.

Green, they drive side by side into the first corner, Hill wins the race up to the first corner.

Lap 27, Larson has cracked the lead and is fighting his way back to the top with new tires. Shane van Gisbergen follows him in 11th place.

2 left in the second stage, van Gisbergen takes 10th place from Larson!

Austin Hill drives away and wins the second stage in Chicago! Cole Custer spins behind him in the last corner.

Green flag on stage three, Love wins the battle for the lead in turn two. Ty Gibbs follows him and takes second place.

Lap 36, further back in the field, six cars are backed up while braking. Several cars suffer serious damage, caution.

Green, Love leads out of turn one. Brandon Jones is behind them, no caution. Preston Pardus gets stuck in turn 12, caution.

Green with 8 laps remaining, Love leads, Gibbs takes 2nd place.

7 laps left, Love is in the lead with Gibbs close on his heels. Shane van Gisbergen is fighting his way forward and is in 3rd place.

Svan Gisbergen hits the inside wall in turn 12 and Sam Mayer drives into his bumper! Van Gisbergen touches the wall and is slightly damaged.

6 laps left, Leland Honeyman has a flat tire before the first corner and gets stuck in the tire barrier, be careful.

Green, Love leads as van Gisbergen takes second place from Gibbs under braking at turn one. Love tries to block van Gisbergen but can’t stop him. Van Gisbergen takes the lead with three laps to go. Ty Gibbs follows him and takes second place from him.
