Rod Stewart’s son Sean shares pictures of his alleged love affair amid surprise divorce

Rod Stewart’s son Sean surprised many when it was announced that he was divorcing his wife Jody Weintraub, with whom he had married a year earlier in Las Vegas.

In the photos taken on July 4, Sean is seen relaxing at a beachfront restaurant alongside Julia Stambler, the ex-wife of actor Charlie Sheen. In the snap, Julia looks incredibly glamorous as she wears a stylish red mini dress with oversized sunglasses and a black beanie hat.

Sean also shared some photos of the duo and their dog enjoying some cocktails while walking on the beach, with him looking very proud with a large stick in his mouth.

Although he did not comment on the state of his love life, Sean mused in a caption: “Very grown up on the 4th of July.”

The Mail Earlier this week, it was reported that Sean and Jody were in the final stages of their divorce, despite having married just a year earlier. The couple married just hours after Sean proposed to her over a romantic dinner.

Although it was a rather whirlwind engagement, the couple actually knew each other for years before they started dating, having met during college.

The couple seemed to be on solid ground earlier this year when they bought a house together in Los Angeles.

Sean is the son of rock’n’roll legend Rod Stewart and model Alana Stewart, and his famous father is no stranger to divorce.

In 1979, Rod married model Alana Stewart and the couple welcomed Kimberly and Sean together. However, the couple split up and Rod later said his father was right when he warned him against getting married at a young age.

Rod’s second marriage was to model Rachel Hunter. He proposed to her after only three weeks of dating her. The couple separated in 1999 before finally divorcing in 2006. The singer struggled to cope with the breakup.

“I was cold all the time,” he confessed. “During the day I lay on the sofa with a blanket over me and a hot water bottle on my chest. Then I knew why they call it a broken heart: you feel it in your heart. I was distracted, almost to the point of madness.”
