The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures from Super7 take you back to the 2000s

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans will soon have some cool collectibles to look forward to, as Super7 has introduced a new line of action figures inspired by the classic 2003 animated series. These seven-inch-tall toys feature impressive poseability and detailed sculpting, and look like they’ve hopped right out of the cartoon. Each figure is $55 on Super7’s website, and if you buy all four figures, shipping is free. As another nice bonus, you also get extra heads based on the series’ intro.

The Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo collectibles all feature interchangeable heads and hands, numerous accessories and double-jointed limbs for striking a extreme Pose. Just like in the cartoon, if you can ignore the intro where Leonardo tries to make a scooter look cool. No, scooters are not extreme, and you know that’s the truth.

The 2003 TMNT series was a huge success when it debuted, spanning 155 episodes over seven seasons. Although it struck a fun tone similar to the original 1987 animated series, this TMNT series often explored darker themes, gritty action, and great character development.

For more action figures to collect, check out Mondo’s line of classic TMNT figures with a soft vinyl touch. These are reminiscent of the original ’80s action figures, but in the Japanese sofubi style. They look pretty good, and the line expands to include the most radical of all skateboarding lizards, Mondo Gecko. If you’d rather collect TMNT reading material instead, you can pick up 18 volumes of IDW Publishing’s excellent TMNT series in a Humble Bundle deal.
