I’m not ready to see the end of the Clone Wars

Summary

  • The Clone Wars era offers potential for more content, and characters like the clones have a clear path ahead of them.
  • Echo’s fate in “The Bad Batch” leaves room for a possible return in another Star Wars project.
  • A new show could explore the unknown fates of clones like Cody, Wolffe, and the Clone Rebellion.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is one of the most popular shows in war of starsand there is a clear path for the continuation of this era. The Clone Wars first debuted in 2008 and ran for 7 seasons, ending in 2020 with the long-awaited final season. However, there are so many other war of stars Titles were created from The Clone Wars and its timeline and have allowed so many characters to appear in different war of stars Movies and TV shows.

For many people, myself included, when Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 ended in early May, feeling more like the end of an era than the end of a television series. war of stars Animation projects are some of my favorites in the entire franchise and are what I rewatch the most. Because there is so much content from The Clone Wars Epoch, I feel like some of the characters I spent the most time with are the clonesand knowing that there will probably be no more content produced about these characters breaks my heart.

Echo’s survival in The Bad Batch sets up a new story

Echo’s fate remained unclear

Echo has always been one of my favorite clones, and when he returned in The Clone Wars Season 7 and became an official member of Clone Force 99, I was more than excited. The bad batch The series finale left his fate unclear. The bad batchEpilogue, it is known that Hunter, Crosshair, and Wrecker remained with Omega on Pabu. However, Echo was not mentioned, suggesting that he did not retire like his brothers. This leaves the door open for Echo’s return in another war of stars Project.

Since Echo officially left Clone Force 99 in The bad batch Season 2 to join Rex’s growing underground network of clones, it felt like if anyone was going to die, it would be Echo. The bad batch perfectly prepared to join Echo and Dr. Emerie Karr in Rex’s growing ranks and possibly lead a clone rebellion. Since there are still so many fan-favorite clones helping Rex, There certainly seems to be a story here that is worth telling.

Echoes (CT-1409)

Echo, a loyal clone trooper, was captured by the Separatists and turned into a tool they used against the Republic. Echo was rescued by Clone Force 99 and decided to join the team. Like most of this mutant squad, he was unaffected by Order 66. Echo left the Bad Batch to work with the first rebel cells.

The Clone Rebellion could reveal why Rex went into hiding

Rex’s retreat to Seelos was never explained

As Captain Rex in Star Wars RebelsHe lives with his clone colleagues Gregor and Wolffe, where the fighting has practically stopped. Rex is more discouraged than the all-in captain that viewers saw in The Clone Warsbut it was never explained how or why the three clones went into hiding. Another series that explores the failed clone uprising and shows how Rex and the other clones ended up on Seelos would be a perfect conclusion to his and the other clones’ stories.

Rex joins the

Crew and the Rebellion and eventually serves in the Battle of Endor, which was seen in

Captain Rex

A key figure among the clones, Captain Rex served under Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano during the Clone Wars. He deserted after the Empire was formed and became a key leader in the early Rebellion. A disillusioned Rex eventually retired, but was brought back into the game thanks to Ahsoka’s continued influence.

There is currently very little we don’t know about Captain Rex, but the one big gap audiences have in Rex’s timeline is what happened afterward The bad batch Season 3 and before Rebels. Rex’s appearances in these shows take place about 14 years apart. Whether this show would take place immediately after the events of The bad batch or even later in war of stars Timeline there are definitely some gaps that need to be filled.

The fates of Cody, Wolffe, Echo and others have yet to be shown

They could be an important focus of a clone rebellion story

Although it is known that Commander Wolffe will eventually end up on Seelos with Rex, audiences last saw him working for the Empire. Wolffe’s story of leaving the Empire to join his brothers could be really exciting.

As Commander Cody is known in The bad batch In Season 2, many suspected that the fan-favorite clone and former right-hand man of Obi-Wan Kenobi would die; Instead, Cody disappeared from the force without permission and his whereabouts are still unknown. Although it is known that Commander Wolffe will eventually end up on Seelos with Rex, audiences last saw him working for the Empire. Wolffe’s story of leaving the Empire to join his brothers could be really exciting.

While I hope Echo eventually retired on Pabu with the other members of Clone Force 99, it’s hard not to want to know what happened to the character. With so many of the clones’ fates unknown, Dave Filoni should reprise the role of the hero. The Clone Wars era once again and offer the audience a show that sheds light on the fate of these beloved characters – even if it is more than tragic. The clones are some of the most heartbreaking characters in the entire war of starsso it only feels right that they get a fitting farewell, even if it is heartbreaking The Clone Wars Fashion.
