Chris Jericho ready for AEW Stampede Street Fight – TJR Wrestling

Chris Jericho is on his way to the Calgary Stampede, but he has a big fight ahead of him at AEW Dynamite.

For weeks now, Chris Jericho has been trying to show the rest of the AEW roster that he is the man to listen to as The Learning Tree. Big Bill and Bryan Keith have taken Jericho’s advice to heart and joined forces with the FTW Champion, but there are many people who are fed up with Jericho’s unwanted advice – most notably HOOK, Katsuyori Shibata and Samoa Joe.

At Forbidden Door, Jericho replaced Keith with NJPW World Television Champion Jeff Cobb for a six-man tag team match, won by Joe, HOOK and Shibata.

Jericho, Keith and Bill attacked the trio on the July 3 edition of Dynamite after they defeated The Cage of Agony in a trios match. Later in the show, Jericho reached into his bag of tricks and threw a fireball into HOOK’s face.

Chris Jericho meets Samoa Joe

Now, AEW has confirmed that Chris Jericho will face Samoa Joe in a Stampede Street Fight when Dynamite takes place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The show will also crown the winners of both Owen Hart Foundation tournaments.

Joe has two singles victories over Jericho from their time together in WWE, the most recent of which came on the April 17, 2017 edition of Raw.
