Moe Wagner will remain with the Orlando Magic for a few more seasons after signing a new two-year contract extension with the franchise. The Magic signed Wagner for $11 million. Wagner’s younger brother Franz Wagner recently signed a mega contract extension with the Magic, so the two brothers will be playing side by side for the foreseeable future.

Wagner entered the 2018 NBA Draft after spending three seasons with the Michigan Wolverines. During his junior and senior seasons with the Wolverines, Wagner averaged 14.6 points and 7.1 rebounds. His play at Michigan earned him the 25th overall pick in the 2018 draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. Wagner played just one season with the Lakers before playing for Washington and Boston before landing in Orlando in 2020-21.
In the four seasons he spent with Orlando, he averaged double figures in three seasons. Last year, Wagner averaged 10.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in 17.7 minutes per game as a reserve center for the Magic’s playoff team.
Wagner’s annual salary is currently $11 million and is the most he has earned since he first signed with Orlando, where he made $8 million per season.
