Sabrina Carpenter is a Nepo baby!

While she continues to take the world by storm with her chart hits like “Please Please Please” and “Expresso,” fans of the pop diva were shocked to learn that her aunt also has a hugely successful career in the entertainment industry.

Although the former Disney Channel actress has long claimed she was discovered after placing third in the singing competition “The Next Miley Cyrus Project” in 2009, many social media users point out that being the niece of a voice-acting legend likely gave her an advantage.

To the internet’s surprise, Carpenter’s very famous relative also connects her to one of the world’s most popular and profitable television franchises of all time.

Need a clue? The voice of the actress from Life and Me is none other than Bart Simpson, the actress’ aunt.

If you guessed Nancy Cartwright, you are right!

Although the two have not been photographed together in public for years, the 66-year-old Emmy winner took her niece to various premieres throughout her early childhood.

Back when Carpenter was just 12, Cartwright shared an adorable photo on Facebook of them together with Robin Williams at a screening of Happy Feet 2.

Over the years, Cartwright, whose net worth is estimated at over $60 million, has also publicly expressed his support for Carpenter’s career and attended several of her shows.

“My niece, Sabrina Carpenter, at the Roxy! She’s only 17 – almost 30! So chic and sexy!! Look out for her! She’s a star!!!” Cartwright tweeted, posting a video of her niece’s performance in 2016.

Carpenter confirmed the relationship between the two back in 2021 when she answered Wired’s most frequently asked questions about her on the internet.

When asked if she was related to Cartwright, the Feather singer replied: “(She’s) my father’s sister!”

“She’s the voice of Bart Simpson, I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of him,” she mused. “And also 89 other characters on the Simpsons and a bunch of other shows and like Rufus and Kim Possible and Chuckie on the Rugrats, so literally everything.”

Carpenter went on to call her aunt a “legend” and explained that they “work at pretty different ends of the industry.”

Still, the Pennsylvania native said she “learned so much just by watching” Cartwright.

“She is so talented,” Carpenter raved.

Although the fact of their relationship has been confirmed several times in various interviews, including Roman Kemp’s radio show on Capital FM, many fans were completely unaware that she is a Nepo baby.

Carpenter also confirmed in 2021 that they are related when she answered the internet’s most frequently asked questions about her with Wired; seen last month

“I was years old today when I learned that Sabrina Carpenter’s aunt is Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart Simpson,” admitted one Reddit user.

Another replied: “Damn, everyone in Hollywood is related to someone.”

“Since Sabrina has finally made it to pop stardom and her aunt is literally Bart Simpson, how soon will she get that unnecessary celebrity guest spot on The Simpsons,” asked a third.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), social media users called Carpenter’s connection to Cartwright “iconic.”

The former Disney Channel singer, who opened for Taylor Swift on “The Eras Tour” in Latin America, Australia and Singapore, recently skyrocketed in popularity following the release of her hits “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” “Feather” and “Nonsense.”

Others admitted they weren’t surprised to learn that another star has a celebrity connection that paves their way to Hollywood

Last week, Carpenter scored her first number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the single Please Please Please.

The tune landed at number two last week, followed by her song Espresso at number three.

Upon hearing the news, she gushed on social media: “MY FIRST number 1 on the HOT 100!!!!!!! And Espresso at number 4… I am so grateful and will surely remember this day for the rest of my life!”

In the note, she further thanked her colleagues Jack Antonoff, Amy Allen and Laura Sisk.

“@jackantonoff @amyallen I really love this song and I love you both!!!!! I love our high-pitched claps!!!!! I love @sharp_stick !!!! All good things come in threes,” she added.

She concluded the caption, “Thank you to everyone who listened and made these songs so much fun. More coming soon.”

In the music video for “Please Please Please” she shocked her fans by casting her boyfriend Barry Keoghan as her lover.

The two play a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde duo, while Sabrina becomes entangled in her new husband’s criminal life – which includes bloody brawls and an armed bank robbery.

The musician’s upcoming album, Short N’ Sweet, is set to be released on August 23rd.
