Experience Taylor Swift’s live debut of “Imgonnagetyouback” in Amsterdam

Singer smashed the The Section “Tormented Poets”: The Anthology Track with “Dress” during the Surprise Songs part

Over a year During her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift continues to play songs from her repertoire that she has never played before. At Friday’s performance in Amsterdam, it was “Imgonnagetyouback” that made its live debut in the “Surprise Songs” part of the concert.

One evening after reviving the former Eras Tour classic “The Archer,” Swift delivered an acoustic interpretation of The Section “Tormented Poets”: The Anthology Track. As is customary on this leg of the tour, “Imgonnagetyouback” was mixed with another song, on this occasion Call“Dress,” which was previously played only once on the Eras Tour, at a stadium show in the Los Angeles area in August 2023.

For the second Surprise Songs performance, Swift combined another pair of rarely played pieces and mixed 1989‘s “You are in love” with Alwayss “Cowboy Like Me”.

With the debut of “Imgonnagetyouback” there are now only two songs left from 15 tracks The section “The Tormented Poets”: The Anthology remain untouched on stage: “Cassandra” and “Robin”. Also three songs from The “Tortured Poets” section have not yet been played, “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)”, the Florence Welch-starred “Florida!!!” and “So Long, London”, which is presumably being saved for the conclusion of the European leg of the Eras Tour in August at the city’s Wembley Stadium.

The Eras Tour continues on Saturday in Amsterdam, then travels to Zurich, Milan and three other German cities. The European leg ends on August 20, the last night of a five-date tour at Wembley Stadium. Swift played three shows there in June. After a two-month break, the Eras Tour then starts its final North American leg outside Miami on October 18.
