Nueva Esperanza hosts the Love & Hope for Holyoke Day of Worship

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Nueva Esperanza will host a special gathering Saturday designed to bring the community together in a peaceful and uplifting way.

The Love & Hope for Holyoke Day of Worship is an all-day event dedicated to spreading positivity, love and hope. Held in partnership with Mass in Motion, Iglesia Templo Ebenezer, One Holyoke and Unified Worship, this event is designed to give participants the opportunity to connect with their neighbors, experience the power of community and faith, and enjoy a day filled with hope and love.

The day begins at 10am with a community cleanup. At noon, participants will spread the word about the event and invite families to participate. At 5:30pm, free food and hygiene items will be distributed, and at 6pm, live music from the talented Unified Worship Band will begin. Afterwards, local pastors will share positive and uplifting messages with participants.

This event is part of the Holyoke Cultural Resilience Cookbook, presented by Mass in Motion in collaboration with Nueva Esperanza through El Corazón Project/The Heart of Holyoke and many other partners. The goal of this event is to promote positivity through expressions of love and support for the community, as well as offering resources, compassion and uplifting messages.
