“Toy Story 4” expands the voice cast to include a young Marvel star

A star from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will voice a character in the new Toy history Consequence.

Madeleine McGraw, who played the younger version of Hope van Dyne in “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” will lend her voice to the character Bonnie in “Ant-Man and the Wasp.” Toy Story 4.

Bonnie is the new owner of Woody, Buzz and their friends and was originally voiced by Emily Hahn in 2010’s Toy Story 3, but the latter actress is obviously all grown up now.

McGraw is making quite a career with a recurring role in the TV series Outcasts and the lead role in the upcoming supernatural horror film The Curse of La Llorona.

The young actress joins a line-up of new voice actors who will play a role in the Disney Pixar sequel.

Duke Caboom, a motorcycle-riding action figure from the ’70s, is voiced by Keanu Reeves, while Aly Maki and Christina Hendricks lend their voices to other “Office” toys Giggle McDimples and Gabby, respectively.

In the fourth part of the Disney-Pixar series, Tom Hanks and Tim Allen return as Woody and Buzz Lightyear and have a new mission: They must save Forky, “Bonnie’s most important toy at the moment”.

Woody and Buzz may be the leaders of the group, but Bo Beep (Annie Potts) is a force to be reckoned with, as the studio has given her a makeover in the style of Rey from Star Wars.

She has disappeared from the troop without permission and Woody meets her by chance when he tries to return Forky to her child, but she is not very keen on accompanying him on the road.

Here is the official synopsis of the film:

Woody has always been sure of his place in the world and has known that his priority is to take care of his owner, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. When Bonnie’s beloved new craft project turned toy, Forky, refers to himself as “garbage” rather than a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on a family road trip, Woody takes an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep.

After years of being on her own, Bo’s spirit of adventure and life on the road belies her delicate porcelain facade. When Woody and Bo realize they are worlds apart when it comes to life as toys, they soon find that this is the least of their worries.

Toy Story 4 will be in theaters on June 21, 2019.
