‘9-1-1’ fans are excited about Jennifer Love Hewitt’s ‘secret’ movie news

It looks like the release of her new memoirs is not the only thing Jennifer Love Hewitt will be happening this December!

The author and actress currently plays the lead role in the successful ABC drama 9-1-1but in a surprise announcement by Deadlineshe announced that she will executive produce and star in a new Christmas film later this year. Currently titled The holiday junkiethe film will be part of Lifetimes It’s a wonderful life 2024 lineup. Her family will also be involved – Jennifer’s husband Brian Hallisay and their three children (daughter Autumn and sons Atticus And Aidan) will also appear in the film.

Shortly after the news broke, Jennifer shared a screenshot of the Deadline Article on Instagram. “I’ve been keeping a Christmas secret!” she wrote excitedly on June 6.The holiday junkie is coming to your TV! I can’t wait!”

When Jennifer’s fans learned that she would be appearing on screen in a Christmas movie with her family, they couldn’t help but cheer her on.

“This is the best news I’ve heard all day today. I’m so excited for this new project and so happy to see you and your husband together on TV! 🤗🥰Congratulations! 🥳🥂,” one person wrote.

“I couldn’t like this more! Christmas came early! 🌲🌲💗💗💗,” exclaimed another.

So what will The holiday junkie be? According to TV InsiderThe film is inspired by Jennifer’s love of Christmas and the Loss of her mother PatriciaAccording to the official film log, the film will “follow Andie, played by Hewitt, who runs a decorating and planning business with her mother, Mimi. After Mimi’s death, Andie must spend her first Christmas without her mother and carry the Holiday Junkie torch alone.”
