Machine Gun Kelly and Yungblud release “sad version” of “I Think I’m Okay”

MGK also released a deluxe edition in 2019 Hotel Diablowith a demo, a live song and a new track called “Pistolero”

MGK returns to his Hotel Diablo era five years later. On Friday, the musician released a deluxe edition of the acclaimed LP, adding “sad versions” of fan-favorite songs “I Think I’m Okay” and “Glass House” as well as a new track, “El Pistolero.”

To accompany the album reissue, MGK also released a video for a reinterpreted version of “I Think I’m Okay” with Yungblud. (The original track also featured Travis Barker.) The video features behind-the-scenes footage of the two musicians backstage at a show celebrating the track’s platinum status and a photoshoot from the time. MGK also sings the new version while lying on the grass.

“A love letter to you from us, the ‘I Think I’m Fine’ (sad version) video is out now,” MGK wrote on Instagram. “Can you believe it’s been 5 years already??”

MGK has also released the deluxe version Floor 13 Edition Version of Hotel Diablowhich includes the new song “El Pistolero” and has him singing in Spanglish, “Bullets With Names” featuring Young Thug and Lil Duke, sad versions of “I Think I’m Okay” and “Glass House,” and a demo of “5:3666.” He also added a live performance of the song “Floor 13.”

Mgk originally published Hotel Diablo — with songs like “El Diablo,” “Candy” with Trippie Redd, and “Glass House” — on July 5, 2019. He accompanied the project two years later with a US tour and a graphic novel of the same name.

This year, MGK and Redd teamed up for a 10-song EP titled Genre: Sad Boy in early June. Last month, he also released the singles “Sun to Me” and “BMXXing.” He celebrated the tracks with a performance at CMA Fest’s Spotify House, where he performed a cover of the Chicks’ “There’s Your Trouble” and sang a duet of “Need a Favor” and his “My Ex’s Best Friend” with Jelly Roll.

MGK’s last album was released in 2022 with Mainstream sell-outHe also had Tickets for My Downfall in 2020.
