The The bookstore at the Troy Public Library offers the best deals in town.

Perhaps the best book deals ever.

This week alone, thanks to the generosity of its regular customers, the Book Nook had almost unbelievable deals on the shelves… standing like a sentry between the shelves.

Iris Byrd, manager of the bookstore, said the bookstore has received generous and one-time donations and is now making them available to the public.

Unopened boxes of National Geographic Magazine are treasures among collectors, and the bookstore has a stack of them. The bookstore also has a collection of jigsaw puzzles that are particularly unique because they are made of wood.

Byrd said the puzzles are also unique in that they have no edge pieces, making “framing” the puzzles even more difficult.

To make things even more interesting, the pieces have different shapes, including flowers and animals. A finished puzzle is a work of art and worth framing, Byrd said.

If you like a challenge, you won’t find anything better than the wooden puzzles at the Troy Public Library bookstore.
