Adele uses £400,000 technical system to protect her voice in Las Vegas

Adele will reportedly use £400,000 worth of technology to protect her voice during her performance in Las Vegas.

The 34-year-old superstar, who postponed her “Weekends with Adele” concert at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum in January just 24 hours before it was set to open, claiming COVID-19 made it impossible to perform her show, will finally take to the stage this Friday (11/18/22) for a three-month-long series of concerts. The Sin City venue has installed a “complex” system that will ensure she has the “best possible air” while she sings.

A source told The Mirror: “They have installed complex systems before but this one is really on another level. The system works by combining dehumidifiers, purification units, water molecule atomisation and cooling fans in the preparation room and then redirecting this air around the stage during her performance. Adele gets the best possible air to protect her voice.”

The news comes just hours after it was claimed that the Grammy Award winner – who underwent surgery in 2011 following a vocal cord hemorrhage – is “more than ready” to take to the stage and is rehearsing “more than 12 hours” a day.

A source said: “Adele can’t wait for her residency to start, she is more than ready. She has put her heart and soul into the preparation, she has been rehearsing 12 hours a day and every little thing is in place and perfected. At this point it’s just that she wants it to happen quickly and the premiere to happen because now that everything is ready the wait is hard, it’s like the countdown to Christmas morning or something. The premiere is going to be an epic celebration, she’s going to have all her loved ones there!”
