Swimming and dining at the New Swim Club in downtown Austin

Grab your sunscreen and dine in a real swimming pool at Swim Club, a swimming pool bar and restaurant opening in downtown Austin on June 24, 2024. Co-owner of Austin bar Nickel City, Travis Tober, in partnership with Downright Austin Hotel, has opened Swim Club, housed in Downright Austin’s swimming pool and offering customers the opportunity to swim, socialize, eat and drink.

Enjoy lunch on a lounger by the pool, soak up the sun on the lawn, or sit in the sunken dining room with a beautiful view of the neighboring pool. The Swim Club offers other entertaining areas such as Randy’s Radio Room, a disco lounge, and the Swim Club lawn with picnic tables and outdoor seating.

Enjoy the Miami ambiance and cool off with a cold-mixed, innovative drink and pizza straight from the brick oven. The menu evokes memories of long summers and showcases local fare, backyard barbecue classics and perfectly fried dishes like fish tacos.
